The Registration Process

Select Your Event & Location

On a 1845 Registration Page, you will see the event details including the title, description, and facility logo.

In the select your training facility section, choose the organization or location where your evaluation will take place and click SELECT LOCATION to continue. 

Enter Your Information

Your profile allows you to keep all performance history in one place. The system automatically checks whether you already have a profile with us.

New Players

If you are new to the 1845 ecosystem, the system will guide you through creating your permanent performance profile. Follow these steps to ensure your data is accurately captured:

1. Skip the Have a Stacks ID? section. It’s for returning players.

   

    

2. Under Basic Info, enter your first name, last name, date of birth, and gender. This ensures your data is benchmarked against the correct age group (13U or 14+).​ Click Validate Info to continue.

   

    

3. A window will appear letting you know this is a new account. Click Create My Account. This allows us to create your Stacks ID, which will be sent to the email address on file.

   

    

4. Under Extra Details, share information that allows us to accurately capture data during your BASE. Know that our data belongs to you. Organization staff can view it to support your experience but only you can choose to share it externally.

   • Bio-data: Sport, primary position, height, weight, competition level, and bat length.

   • Group selection: Under “select your time slot or team,” choose your training group if you’re registering with your team. If you’re registering individually, select a time slot that works best for you.

5. Share primary contact details by entering information for your primary contact, typically a parent or guardian. If you’re 18 or older, you can enter your own details.

Returning Players

• If you know your Stacks ID, enter it here alongside your name and date of birth to auto-fill your information.

  Your Stacks ID is a unique digital key located in the header of your player profile on Stacks.
  ​

  

   

• If a match is found, you’ll be asked to verify your account by entering a code we send to the email address we have on file.

Review and Sign The Privacy Waiver

Review the privacy waiver, which explains how performance data is used and protected.

• One-time consent: You’ll sign two separate agreements. Once completed, your consent is saved to your profile so you won’t need to sign again for future registrations.

Secure Payment

Payments are processed directly through the secure registration portal.

• Review pricing: The final page displays the total cost, including any event-specific discounts.​

• Checkout: Enter your card details to complete the transaction.​

• Confirmation: You will see a "payment successful" message once the transaction is complete.

What Happens Next?

1. Invoice and receipt email: You’ll receive an automated confirmation email right away.​ It will include a link to your receipt. Your payment will appear on your credit card statement as to 1845 Solutions​.

2. Data activation: Stacks is where your performance data lives. Your registration creates a request to link you to your organization. Once an admin approves, your profile is activated and you can log in to view your BASE results.​

3. MLBU app access: To view your results and unlock advanced features like Player Match, download the MLBU app and follow the prompts to connect your verified Stacks account.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

• Is my personal data secure? Yes. Information like height, weight, and age is strictly for your BASE. All data usage is governed by the privacy waiver you signed during registration.​

• Do I have to sign the waiver every time? No. Once signed, your consent is saved. You can skip this step for future registrations.​

• How do I manage who sees my data? Your data is shared with the coaches assigned to your group.​

• What if a sponsor or school is paying for the assessment? If a third party (like a high school or foundation) is covering the costs for your team, you may receive a specific link that reflects the sponsored status, allowing you to complete registration without payment.
