Just complete your first BASE Assessment!? Follow the steps below to access your stats within the MLBU app!

Following your first BASE Assessment, you can easily access and view your results in the MLBU app! There are a few steps to complete first, but we'll guide you through each one. Just follow along!

What exactly is "BASE"?

BASE = Baseball and Softball Evaluation BASE is a MLB-sanctioned performance assessment measuring hitting and athleticism. See where you stand versus your peers, discover where to focus your training, and track improvement over time — all with data you own and control.

Download the MLBU App

Following your BASE Assessment, you should receive an email that details your next steps. Within this email, you should see a button titled "LETS GO", that contains a link to the MLBU App.

Once you've downloaded the MLBU App, continue through this article to learn how to create your account and connect your Stacks profile! Once everything is complete, you can view your results from your BASE Assessment!

I never received an email to download MLBU, what should I do?

We apologize for that! Our Customer Care team would be more than happy to provide you with an MLBU download link. Simply reach out to support@mlbu.app where one of our agents will be able to help you out!

Types of Accounts

When signing up, you can create a Player account or a Guardian account. They both will function the same once logged in but we want to help make sure you are set up using the app to the best of your situation!

When should I use a guardian account?

- If you are using the MLBU app with multiple children/players! Within an account you can create as many player profiles as you would like.

-If you're player is younger than 14 years of age.

When should I use a player account?

You are using the MLBU app with one child who is older than 14 years of age.

Creating an Account

We offer three different ways to create an account with MLBU; email, Gmail and Apple.

MLBU TIP

If you plan on using multiple devices, we suggest creating an account using your email. Social sign-in like Apple or Google will limit you to only signing in on devices that are signed in to the same social (AppleID or Gmail).

Creating a Player Account

Download the MLBU App
Select Get Started
Select how you'd like to create your account, once selected continue to step 4
- Continue with Email
  - Enter your email address in the Email Field
  - Select Get Code
    - You will be sent a 6-digit verification code to the email address you entered.
  - Enter your unique 6 digit verification code and select Continue
- Continue with Google
  - Select the Google Account you wish to use
  - Enter your credentials
- Continue with Apple
  - Select your Apple ID and select Sign In
  - Sign in with your Face ID or Apple Device's Passcode
Enter your account details (First Name, Last Name, Date of Birth)
Select Player
Select Continue and your account will be created!

I didn't get my code?

Make sure to check the inbox of the email you signed up for! Also don't forget to look in your spam folder!

It won't let me sign up as a Player?

You may be entering a birthdate that is to young for a Player account. For player's 14 years and younger, we require a Guardian account to be created for the player.

Creating a Parent Account

Download the MLBU App
Select Get Started
Select how you'd like to create your account, once selected continue to step 4
- Continue with Email
  - Enter your email address in the Email Field
  - Select Get Code
    - You will be sent a 6-digit verification code to the email address you entered.
  - Enter your unique 6 digit verification code and select Continue
- Continue with Google
  - Select the Google Account you wish to use
  - Enter your credentials
- Continue with Apple
  - Select your Apple ID and select Sign In
  - Sign in with your Face ID or Apple Device's Passcode
Enter your account details (First Name, Last Name, Date of Birth)
Select Guardian.
Enter your Family Name and select Continue
Select the Add New Player button.
Enter your player's details (First Name, Last Name, Date of Birth)
Select Add Player to finish creating this player profile
- You can add as many player profiles as you would like, by simply repeating this same process
Once you are finished adding all of your players, you can select the Done This will finish the process!

Learning To Switch Profiles

If you created a Guardian Account, it is important to know how to switch profiles within the MLBU App!

This way your player can access their stats, complete activities, and participate in the full MLBU App experience.

To switch back and forth between your Guardian and Player Profiles, follow these steps below:

Once you are logged in the the MLBU App, select Home
Select the Hello Arrow Icon at the top of the Home page
Select the profile you wish to Play As
- This will automatically switch you over to the profile you selected!

Can I add more player profiles in the future?

You can add as many player profiles as you would like! To do this, you can:

Select the Profile icon
Select About Your Family
Select Add New Player
Enter your player's information and select Add Player

Access Your Stats via Stacks

Create or log in to your MLBU Account.
- If you are a Guardian, make sure you switch to your players profile by selecting the Hello Arrow Icon at the top of the Home Page
Select the Your Game tab
Select Access Your Stats
Enter your Stacks ID and select the Blue Check Mark
- Your Stacks ID will be provided in your BASE confirmation email from 1845, and is located at the top of your player profile in Stacks. Click here to access your Stacks account and locate your Stacks ID
You should now see your Stacks ID square populate. To connect your Stacks ID, select Connect

Your Stacks Profile should now be connected to the MLBU App! With this now activated, your metrics should appear under the Your Game tab.

What exactly is "Stacks"?

Stacks houses advanced player data and analytics from BASE Assessments. The platform stores your training data from these events, and allows you to access it following the conclusion of each event.
